Kashaa is free to use, permanently, with real limits rather than a countdown timer. Records are always unlimited - you hit the paywall only when the number of accounts, budgets or categories you keep says your financial life is complex enough that Kashaa is already earning its keep.

Every feature works on the free tier, and you can log as many records as you like. Pro is about scale and how far back your history goes, not about unlocking functionality that was being withheld.

A few details worth stating plainly

The fine print, unfined.

These are the kind of thing you only find out about an app at the worst possible moment, so here they are up front.

Records are never limited

Log as many transactions as you like on any tier, including Free, for as long as you use the app. The free limits are on accounts, budgets, categories, subcategories and payees - never on the records themselves.

Your data is never held hostage

Going over a free limit locks the newest items from further use. It never deletes anything, and everything reappears the moment you subscribe.

History is a free window, not a wall

The Expense Breakdown, your Budgets and the Heatmap show this month plus the previous two on Free. Opening an older month or range prompts the paywall - every record is still there, and every month is visible again on Pro.

Entitlement fails safe

If you're offline, your last known subscription state is honoured, so Pro doesn't vanish on a plane. A different account signing in offline falls back to Free rather than inheriting yours.

Cancelling is one tap, in the store

Subscriptions run through the App Store and Google Play and can be managed from inside Settings. Cancel and your data stays exactly as it is.

Billing questions

Before you decide.

No. Records are unlimited on every tier, including Free - log as much as you like, for as long as you use the app. The free tier's limits are on accounts, budgets, categories, subcategories and payees, never on the transactions themselves.

Higher limits on everything: up to 100,000 accounts instead of 3, 100,000 budgets instead of 3, 100,000 categories instead of 10, 100,000 subcategories instead of 40, and 100,000 payees instead of 5 - effectively no ceiling. Pro also removes the history window, so the Breakdown, Budgets and Heatmap open on any month back to the start. Pro is ₱99 a month, or ₱799 a year which works out about a third cheaper. Every feature itself is in the free tier - Pro is about scale, not about unlocking functionality.

Nothing is deleted, ever. Going over a free limit locks the newest items from further use - the data stays exactly where it is and reappears the moment you subscribe. Your records are never held hostage.

The Expense Breakdown, your Budgets and the Heatmap show this month plus the previous two on Free - a rolling three-month window. Opening an older month or a longer date range prompts the paywall. The underlying records are all still there and never expire; Pro simply makes every month visible again.

Yes, anytime through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. If you cancel, your account returns to the free tier and your data stays intact - you just go back to free limits and the three-month history window. Subscriptions are handled by the stores and can be managed from inside Settings.

Yes. Your entitlement is cached and fails safe, so if you are offline your last known subscription state is honoured and Pro does not vanish on a plane. If a different account signs in offline with no verifiable state, Kashaa falls back to Free rather than leaking the previous user's subscription.
