Built for money that moves the way yours does.
Kashaa is a personal finance tracker for iOS and Android, made in Dumaguete City. We built it around the way our own money actually moves: cash, e-wallets, and small loans between people who know each other.
The starting point
A lot of money never touches a bank API.
Automatic bank linking is a genuinely good idea, and when your spending runs through cards and transfers it works beautifully. It just can't see the parts of a day that never pass through an account it can read.
- You paid the tricycle driver in cash.
- Your salary partly arrives through an e-wallet.
- You spotted a friend ₱2,000 at dinner and they'll pay you back “next week”.
- Your sibling has been slowly repaying a loan you gave them in March.
- You're mid-commute with one bar of signal and you want to log lunch before you forget.
None of that arrives in an imported feed. It has to be entered by hand - which means the entry itself has to stay quick enough that you're still doing it in week three.
So Kashaa starts somewhere else: you already know where your money went. You just need somewhere fast and honest to put it.
What we optimised for
Speed, honesty, and no signal.
Three decisions that shaped everything else.
Entry under five seconds
Because a tracker only works if you keep feeding it, and the honest test of that is whether logging still feels effortless in week three.
A real ledger for people
Because “lent ₱2,000 to Maria” isn't an expense - your net worth didn't change - and the number on your screen should say so.
The database on your phone
Because the moment you most want to log something is usually the moment you have the least signal.
Who it's for
You, probably, if any of these land.
You handle a meaningful amount of cash.
Kashaa doesn't need to see your bank to be useful, because it never assumed it could.
You lend and borrow within your circle.
Family, flatmates, colleagues, the running tab with your closest friends.
You've started tracking before and stopped.
Tracking usually lapses because logging slipped during a busy week. That's the moment the entry flow is built around.
You juggle several accounts and e-wallets.
Bank, GCash, cash in the drawer, a credit card, maybe an investment account.
You want your finances on your device.
No bank credentials handed to a third party, no read access to your statements.
Who makes it
A small team in the Philippines.
Kashaa is built and operated by a small team based in Dumaguete City. We're small enough that support emails are read by the people who wrote the code, which is a good deal for you and a strong incentive for us.
Questions, bugs, and feature requests all go to the same place: support@kashaa.app.
